The Museum does not authorize any filming, photo shoot, recording for academic, artistic, commercial or personal purposes inside the institution and in the exhibition areas.

The use of the external space at MON for photo shoots and filming sessions requires previous authorization from the Museum Board.

* The request must be made at least two (2) business days in advance.

All assistance to press professionals is carried out by the Press Office.

The press will only be authorized to carry out journalistic reports that have been previously approved by the Board of Directors of the Museu Oscar Niemeyer. For photo shoots for journalistic purposes and recording (filming) of journalistic programs, contact us at:

For photo shoots for personal use, such as academic programs, bride and groom photo shoots, debutantes, graduates, etc. a formal request must be sent to:

The request must contain:
- Explanation of what is intended to be done and the purpose of the shoot (personal, professional or press use) and of what will produced;
-    Name, ID number and phone of the person responsible for the shoot;
-    List of names with ID numbers;
-    Date and time.

After consideration, the authorization will be sent via e-mail, which must be presented to MON Security on the day of the photo shoot or filming session.

Any date and/or time change must be informed via e-mail within business hours for approval and issuance of a new authorization.

For photos and filming for commercial and advertising purposes (recording of commercials, films, editorials, etc.) and artistic purposes (fashion shoot, recording of short, medium and feature films, etc.), a fee will be charged for the use of the space, which shall be imperatively paid before the activity is carried out.

The Museu Oscar Niemeyer only authorizes image capturing for commercial, artistic or advertising purposes on its external spaces (lawn, free span open space, ramp).

The request must contain the synopsis/briefing of the topic to be addressed, the purpose of the final product and all the technical details involved in the production (intended dates and times, duration, technical manager, number of people involved, infrastructure needs, etc.).

If the request is approved, the authorization will be sent via e-mail and must be presented to Security and to the person responsible for the Events Office on the scheduled day.

The Museum will not be responsible for any type of material or request other than the use of the space within the stipulated day and time.
