Can I buy my ticket online?

Can I buy the ticket on the spot?

The ticket office and access to the exhibitions are open until 5:30 pm.

On Wednesdays, tickets are free and, therefore, must be picked up directly at the ticket office.

How long does the visit to MON last?

The time needed to visit MON varies according to individual interests, and the Exhibition Rooms each person wishes to visit. However, on average, visitors usually stay in the Museum between two and three hours.

What is the busiest time of day?

The highest concentration of public usually occurs in the afternoon, from 2:30 pm, especially on weekends and on Wednesdays.

Can I enter with a backpack?

The Museum has a locker room, and backpacks, suitcases and large bags must be kept in the lockers.
It is recommended that visitors always bring as little objects as possible to the Museum.

Can people of all ages enter MON?

Yes, there are no age restrictions. Children under 14 must be accompanied by a guardian.

Can I enter the Museum with my baby, in a stroller?

Yes, children of all ages can visit the Museum.

Is it necessary to wear a mask in the Museum?

According to Decree No. 420/2022 of the City of Curitiba and No. 010.596/2022 of the State of Paraná, the use of masks on the premises of the Museu Oscar Niemeyer is optional.

I would like to schedule a group visit. It's possible?

Yes. It is possible to schedule guided visits with a maximum of 15 people and a mandatory companion/guardian. Larger groups should be subdivided.

Guided visits depend on the availability of dates and scheduling must be done by phone: +55 (41) 3350-4448; or by e-mail: agendamento@mon.org.br. The services are held from Tuesday to Friday, with a maximum duration of 1h30 between 10 am and 12 pm, and between 2 pm and 5 pm.

Does MON offer artistic workshops?

Yes, the workshops always take place on the first and third Wednesday of each month, with two 1h30 sessions of the same activity, one at 1:30 pm and the other at 3:30 pm.

Pre-registration is not required to participate, just arrive at MON half an hour before the beginning of the activity, pick up your tickets at the ticket office and head to the Espaço de Oficinas (Workshop Space) in the underground floor. Vacancies will be filled in order of arrival, up to 30 people per session.

Registrations open 15 minutes before the start of the activity and are on a first-come, first-served basis. Spaces are limited and subject to capacity.

The workshops are recommended for ages 5 and up and adult participation is mandatory during the activities.

How does parking work?

Parking is outsourced and is open everyday from 7 am to 8 pm.

Museum visitors have a 50% discount on parking rates. Simply validate the ticket at the Museum ticket office or at the locker room counter. MON Loja customers enjoy a 25% discount (non-cumulative discounts).
