It's necessary to make an appointment for all visits for groups of 11 or more people, with or without mediation. A mediated visit is accompanied by a Museum educator. A visit without mediation is free, and the group creates its own itinerary through the space.

MON's ever-active Educational Program aims to provide transformative experiences to all audiences and democratize access to art.

With personalized and unique proposals, the contents are adapted to different age groups and seek to ensure cultural exchanges, fruition and aesthetic experiences, always respecting the audiences’ prior knowledge.

The proposals privilege a transdisciplinary approach and include the active participation of visitors, seeking to make the Museum an open education center. They include mediations, artistic workshops and awareness dynamics that aim to bring different audiences closer to contemporary production, thus expanding their personal repertoire.

Scheduling request completed successfully

We allow scheduling of groups, with or without mediation, of up to 20 people + 1 companion/monitor.

The guided visits depend on the availability of dates (indicate up to three, in order of priority). After filling out the form, wait for the confirmation e-mail;

Guided visits are carried out from Tuesday to Friday, with a maximum duration of  2h, within the time interval of 10 am to 12 pm, and 2 pm to 5 pm.

Any visit during periods other than the dates and times described above must also be previously scheduled and will be carried out without the mediation service;

Appointments made at night (depending on schedule availability) are only available for EJA and CEEBJA groups;

Individual visitors, or in groups of less than 10 people, must pick up tickets directly at the Museum's ticket office or via the website and visit the museum independently, without mediation.

With the aim of providing transformative experiences to all audiences and democratizing access to art, the Educational Program of the Museu Oscar Niemeyer develops personalized and unique proposals.

Educative

Guided visits propose active dialogues with visitors, respecting the characteristics of each group and individual. The mediation route creates relations with the Museum and with the exhibitions on display, based on conversation and interaction with the mediator or educator responsible for the visit.

Educational visits are carried out for groups of at least ten people, serving schools, universities, NGOs, tourism groups and others by appointment. In addition to mediation, the group can choose to receive an artistic workshop. For the general public, guided visits and workshops have pre-established schedules.

The workshops offer visitors a space for creation and experimentation. Through the activation of multisensory perception, the workshops dialogue with the collection, the exhibitions on display and the architecture of MON. The purpose is to generate experiences that contribute to expanding the experience of visitors in the museum space, as well as providing an environment of creative freedom.
